Ok so thanks for all your opinions, ideas and answers. I will be doing a mini-documentary that will be shown in my class by December 8th. So I would be great if any of you would like to take part in this ( essentially folks in and around SF, East Bay or willing to travel here). I have more questions that I would like to ask in person about this subject. In the meantime if you want to speak on these other questions....
Is there an image that you have to portray to be a rapper? Honestly, taking into account someone's class (upper, middle, working...), gender, race, and even sexuality...would and are some rappers more accepted than others? Bluntly, why aren't there more gay or women or say, asian rappers out there? What makes rap universal?
Thanks again, I'm lookin forward to working with you. Again, if anything you can reach me at
[email protected].
