I was doing my homework in my room singing Young MCs "Bust A Move" Right when I said "so dont just stand there bust a move" the quake struck. I ran into the kitchen and did a Rickey Henderson slide under the table.

felt the quake, didnt think much of it, after 8 secs got a little concerned and moved to the door frame. Felt my fucking house start to sway - not a good feeling - had no idea that the bridge would partially collaspe

Watching baseball on TV from the other side of the USA thank god. Va Beach is a little far from Cali.

It was crazy how the TV fucked up.

its funny to think that theres some cats on here that werent even born yet....wow...damn

i was countin the $120 i had stolen from my babysitter and rippin open the bag fulla packs of baseball cards (upper deck)....my homeboy was outside jumpin around and i was like "damn calm down man you shakin the whole building" then i realized even his fat ass couldnt make a building shake like that....

I was walkin in the middle of the street, on my way home from the babysitter's house after my older brother came and got me. That shit scared the fuck outta me, I hate earthquakes. I looked up the street and saw pops turning the corner, he almost drove into the neighbors house cause the shaking made him lose control of his car for a second. Crazy!

It's hard to believe that was 16 years ago this year....sonofafuckingbitch I'm getting old.

I was 5 years old sitting at my house in PA. My cousin was at an arcade at the time. He hid underneath a pinball machine and grabbed some little kid that almost had the ceiling fall on him. My cousin ended up getting some kind of hero award for saving the kid's life.

I was 17...@ work washin' dishes. I was scrubbin this big ass pot & I felt dizzy looked up..ALL the pots & pans hangin' from the celing were swingin' around like a culinary sideshow!! I remember listening to the series on the radio & you could hear the fear in the announcer's voice...but I was in Sacramento..so no fear

LOL!!!!!

i was in the back of my dad's truck checking out my new batman movie cards with my brother and sister when the shit started shaking violently. i thought it was my dad shaking the truck messing with us until i looked up and saw him running out of the 7-11 w/all the other people that were inside.
