So, it seems that everyone on here is sayin Rick Ross is done. Yet, Lil Wayne has a pic floating around, of him openly kissing another grown man in the mouth, in front of several people, and even openly admitted it...and people said "Wayne is DONE". His album went onto sell nearly 1,000,000 albums in the first WEEK.

Now, Ross' past catches up to him, and he is a complete fraud. People on here are sayin he is "through". But, is he really? Wayne looks like a complete homosexual, and he did fine. SO whats worse in hip-hop, being gay or being linked to law enforcement?

I dont care either way...I only care that WHAT you're talking about matches WHO you REALLY ARE...just dont try to be someone or something you're NOT or have NEVER been...I might not like your music, but at least I will respect you as a person or artist...

Though many people hate police, I think more people hate or feel uncomfortable with gay people...at least you can rid yourself of the police title..but can you rid yourself of the gay title?...lol.."Im no longer f--king men in the a--....whats good?"..I dont think people will buy that AT ALL..lol

this shit cracks me up.. and i still think being with the law is worse.

but it also depends..

if some dude was talking about pimpin every song.. Like tooshort.. and then he came
out and said he was gay.. he would be killed or somthing

and if some cop came out with an coo track about solvin rape cases and shit I might bump it .. it would just be another form of law and order

If people were out seeing Lil Wayne holding hands with a nigga and kissing him and actually "acting" gay, I bet many people wouldnt support him...the thing is, many people still DONT believe he is "gay"...

50 has also been associated with cops and being a snitch, but he is still famous..not as famous as he used to be, but still famous...

You can have any dance beat with a catchy hook played in the clubs with lyrics of eating shit and fruit flies, NO ONE will care. As long as it's hip, as long as the music video on MTV shows the typical black male rappin with a fine beezy singing with flashy cars in the background it's golden.

99.8% of rappers make absolutely horrible music. It's straight up embarrassing. But it doesn't matter because they are "hot" at the moment, people will bump it.

You could have a straight up mentally retarded kid that says "i like unicorns" over and over again, but if he's heavily promoted and made to look cool and has hella money and the support of other notable rappers/stars/celebs and mtv, he'll sell millions of records.

Exactly my point. The masses dont care who these rappers are in their personal lives, they only care about the MUSIC. Cats on the Siccness are the only ones worried about what these rappers eat, where they sleep, who they are fuckin, and what their sexual preference is.

being a rapper on the down low would be just as bad as what rick ross did. aint nothing wrong with being gay or in law enforcement, as long as you're honest and upfront about it in the beginning.

i don't see a cop or gay guy ever being successful as a rapper though. people just won't support it.
