i mean i think its worse to be a hardcore rapper talking about selling coke and shit and then youre a cop, then a fag rapping. im sure theres more fags than cop supporters. everyone aint gonna like it, but shit theres a gay club in every city....rapping as a drug dealer and a cop, you dont have so many venues...
and then at the end of the day we need to look at actual skill, or maybe even money being pooled into the artist
cash money has signifigant income from a decade of ruling mainstream rap and can basically ahve more free reign over the airwaves as hands have been shaken and so on...rick ross not so much, he more or less got a lucky break. dj khaled used to dj in new orleans, where cash money used to go little shows at sometimes..thats how he got his start. at the end of the day i think its more or less about how you expose yourself.
