So im lookin through one of many mens magazines(FHM,Maxim,Complex) that i buy every month...and i always skim through the "fashion" or "style" section that every magazine boasts...and i think to myself...who decides whats "in" or "hot"?How do they decide if its "hot"?Does some celebrity just take a chance and wear somethin and some "fashion guru" decides thats the in thing and every one who wants to be "hip" or "with it" decide to follow that trend??

Same thing with slang...have you ever thought who the EXACT inventor of some of the words YOU use everyday?Who was the VERY first person to use "hella" and how the HELL did they come up with it?

Im bored...post your opinons...

far as fashion goes..yea thats all attributed to hollywood...celebrities and fashion designers...like any trend....wether music...fashion...or slang..all it takes is somebody with some "credability" in that field to co-sign or start a trend and its in the wind from there...everybody hops on the wagon and rides with it until another trend is started...which is gay..i personally try to go against the grain in alot of ways becuz aint nothin really tight about bein a follower..originality is overlooked by the masses tho if they really had game they would realize who ever started the trends they follow was bein original...those who ride the coat tail of it are trendy teeny bopper types...yaddididididididididim sayin thizzzzz the bidnesss (sarcasm)

depends on the type of fashion....like the white tee fad started in the streets from people being to broke from spending all their damn money on their shoes to have money for the rest of their fit...then it evolved to printed tees...but yeah, its mostly celebs taking fashion risks and other people liking and copying....slang is a combination of people thinking of new stuff to say, or just being lazy...like "nawmean" from know what I mean, and hella from hell of...

I dont ever "follow" trands...ill take a pieve from A fashion...and mix with B fashion...and come up with C fashion...its all about comfortability...

I like pre faded jeans...ive always liked "faded" jeans...when i was in HS...i used to buy jeans and wash them about 25 times just to get some kind of worn look out of them before i wore them...now the companies do it for me...

Being men (single or not), we want pussy, and we generally tend to think, shit, I gotta step my game up and look trendy if I want to get laid tonight..

That's personally why I think men follow fashion.. Cause women do too, they check you, see what you're wearin, yes, even your shoes, and most women of the ages of like 18-30 (or 16-30 if you like em young.. they don't call me jailbait james for nothin) I bet, like that metrosexual shit.

I'm not a trendy, fuck that shit. Moisteriser? Damn I got calluses (on my mack hand). I like to look clean though ya feel = more confidence = game is stronger.

What would you say was OTT for mens fashion? Ya know, like turtle neck + faded jeans = ghey or whut?
Tight t-shirts with nonsense on em and faded jeans is where I draw the line. Thats fagwear.
