I have my eyes set on a Government Job.

I know I can get it once I am done. Matter of fact, I got denied the position because I did not have the paper, but I had the experience. So thats why I forced myself back into school.

Cant wait till Im done.
whats tight with govmt jobs is the seniority there...since its a small process to get hired at times...

for instance the average seniority at my job is 11 years..

So I'm lookin' up different jobs... & I'm wonderin', what fields are real paying good to have you living comfortably in California?? I'm interested in Advertising Account Executive (I'm still in highschool) & it's looking like it pays real good. Besides the regular - Doctor, Lawyer, Engineers, etc. what is paying good to have you living good in Cali? Cuzz I rather live in a ga'damn box before I ever move out of California.
work on that diploma...and work on a side hustle. dont go with your first thought. work your ass off in whatever endeavor you tackle.

now define whats comfortable to you. i live that, but only because i dont live outside of my means

@Ironic Commando - What I mean by "comfortably" is living life not trippin' off money. Living life with no real serious financial problems cuzz my pay is up enough to support my future family.

you're skipping ahead man - without a good education you can forget about finding a decent job in any of those fields. focus on going to college and getting a degree and then worry about specific careers.
Dont get it twisted yall. I know damn well I'mma hit college. My plan right now is graduate highschool, get right into a community college for my basic 2 years & then transfer to SJSU when I go for my major & minor. I want a bachelor degree (at least) in something. I'm interested in finding something that interests me & that I enjoy but I also wanna know that it'll be cashin' me out enough to support me & my future family. I'm interested in the hole business/marketing/advertising field but I'm WEAK AS FUCK with math... I'm also aware of having plugs within the field to get a little further which I'm planning to do once I'm 110% sure about what I wanna do.

Marketing is probably the least math intensive field in business....you should def. look into it.

^But what in marketing pays good enough to live comfortably here? That's the thing I always find difficult. There's so many different type of jobs for so many different fields. Those interest me the most but I want a job that'll be cashin' me out enough you know?

i couldnt imagine working full time and going to school full time.
That's what I'm doing and will be doing for a while. 2 jobs + school, and I still kick it with my friends and manage my weed addiction. I just don't sleep or think anymore, and I'm depressed. It'll be worth it in the long run though as long as I don't kill myself.

you are too worried about money...consider if you are actually gonna like the job. i dont know about you...but i'd rather work at a job i enjoy going to as opposed to a job that pays great...but you absolutely hate. that aint living comfortably if you are miserable 10 hours a day

KillaKali, Im in HS as well right now, but Im taking Business at my local Community College, and to my surprise its alot more interesting to me than any class that's been offered to me in HS. Stick to school man, its awsome here cause my business professor is networked with folks at google, and just last semester a google representative came in class to watch class business plan presentations. The rep from Google was so impressed with this group that right after these 3 guys finished the Business class at my community college, Google offered each one of them a position at Google Marketing in the Small Businesses department. There are so many opportunities out there man, especially if you stick to school and areas like marketing.

I realized that taking classes that Im ACTUALLY interested in is so much better for me. I just started fucking with stocks this summer as well, I was like fuck it, fuck letting my money sit in a bank, why not invest it? Last summer Id just be blowing zips and zips of weed. Im actually doing something productive this year and it feels great. Best part is Ive learned a shitload of stuff that Iam actually gonna use in real life situations... Hope this helps someway... stay motivated folks

Right now in Summer I am taking 9 hours and working fulltime.
This Fall I am taking 12 hours...

its what seperates Men from the Mice.

5000
11 hours a week? or 11 units? how many units are you taking that would make more sense...

see, i cant risk my sanity. i applaud yall for real, but i really couldnt do that unless i had a kid, or a wife.

i might be able to pull of like, two classes a semester with a full time. and even then id be pisssssed. the only upside to school would be that id meet some new people, and sell drugs to suckas.

but with that said 2 classes a semester brings a graduation to such a long-term goal i wonder, will i even be alive to see this? who knows. yeah, i gotta do it before i get the "old man in the club" syndrome at college.

Fasho I feel that. That's how I'm looking to get plugs into a field I wanna get into. Either that or an internship where I can jus soak up hella game about it while going to school & what not. I agree as well, it must feel HELLA better learning bout shit you actually wanna learn rather than bein' forced to learn somethin' you dont really care about. I hope to get into some business classes as well.

If you guys want to make serious loot and you're young and got good grades. Go to a good college, and study business there. Then intern and get hired by the Federal Bank. I used to know a chick who did just that and I know she makes scrill.
