What Is The Best Rasputin's To Go To?

I'm going to be up in Northern California for the first time in almost three years and I'm looking to hit up Rasputin's like I did last time. I want to know which Rasputin's has the best selection of used CDs? I'm going to be staying in the Los Altos area. The one I went to last time I think was right off of one of the freeways and the freeway started with an '8'. I think I spent almost $200 there. Thanks for any info.

I'm sure someone else from up there can point you in the right direction. Went and checked out the San Lorenzo location last visit and it was ok. Used to hit the Newark spot but that closed about a year ago. You really can't go wrong with Berkley because you also have Aoemeba next door. It's been 4-5 years since I've been to that one but the used section was still pretty good.

I wish the berkeley store was still on Durant & Telegraph. That used to be a raw setup, 3 levels of music. plus they had the used store that had all the budget used shit. used to be hella easy to come up from there in high school. got some of my first cd's from there, lol.

the berkely store used to have the best stuff but they opened a rasputin everywhere so the used stuff got sent to newer places like mt. view when it first opened. im all over the bay and i like mt. view the most, depends what your looking for tho.

Unfortunately, I won't be going to the Berkeley one despite all of the recommendations. I'll probably go to the one in Mountain View since it is only about 3 miles from where I'll be staying and maybe the one in Campbell since that is only about 14 miles away. I'll let you know what I get on Monday.
