OAKLAND -- Authorities were investigating two separate shootings at the Oakland Coliseum -- one at Saturday night tailgate party outside the home of the Oakland Raiders and a second in the parking lot following an argument between fans moments after Sunday's 12-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Alameda County Sheriff's Deputies said one man was hospitalized and another in jail Monday after the parking lot shooting.
According to investigators, two fans were in a heated argument heading out of the stadium when one man pulled out a gun and shot the other one twice.
Witnesses quickly pointed out the alleged gunman to the deputies, who then chased the suspect through the parking lot and tackled him as the crowd watched.
"I heard a couple gunshots and then everybody scattered," said eyewitness Tom Hanke. "The guy who got shot came back over -- he was parked next to my truck."
The post-game shooting followed a gang-related shooting Saturday night.
Oakland authorities were offering a reward of up to $20,000 Monday for information leading to the arrest of suspected gang members who opened fire on a group of football fans outside of the stadium.
Police said four men were shot Saturday night as they tailgated outside a back entrance leading into the stadium's parking lots.
All four victims -- including two brothers -- were taken to local hospitals and were expected to recover.
Police said at least a dozen rounds were fired at the men.
Based on statements provided by witnesses it was believed they were shot by gang members who mistook them for rivals.
The reward money was being offered by police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland.
