replace meals with whey protein isolate or isolate/concentrate blend (that doesn't have much sugar/fat) shakes (w/ water as the mixer for best results), plus fruits and veggies as snacks and with meals, as necessary...you will get cut up REAL quick, even w/o much exercise...

i lost TOO MUCH weight doing this, but i wasn't overweight to begin with

i don't get why people say imma go on a "diet" what happens after you lose the weight?? u start pickin up ur old eating habits and become even more of a fatass then you were to begin with... trust me im speaking from experience, just change the way u eat all together.. fuck a diet as they say a quick fix is never the solution

Yeah, 'going on a diet' IMO, has always represented short term. It really takes more of a lifestyle change than anything else.


@ Snuka, believe it or not, hitting the weights is far more important when trying to cut fat, than cardio.

hard to believe because in 2001 I lost 50lbs in 3 months by just eating right and hitting the elliptical.

what about targeting certain areas? Im tryin to burn some fat off my lower abs. I hit crunches and eat right and go running, but is there some other way I dont realize in which I can target just my lower abs?

Like Arson said, a lot of that was probably muscle. Cardio does little to nothing, in helping preserve lean muscle mass.

eat 4-5 smaller meals instead of 3 big meals.quit trynna get full each time u eat.the bigger the meal,the longer it takes ur body to digest the food.the longer the food stays in ur body,the more fat/calories are absorbed into ur system.smaller meals digest faster wich is what u want if u wanna lose weight.

and read backlabels.alotta the lowfat/nofat products u see at the supermarket are high in sugars.

Drink tea every morning. It will tighten your stomach up.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day.

Eat foods high in fiber and not high in carbs/fat/sugar. You will start shitting daily.

DO NOT eat past 8pm, not even a snack. Have dinner at 6-7:30pm.

Go biking, jogging/running. Play some hoops. You need to do some cardio.

well u can work out while u fast..and u lose body fat that way b/c u dont have a lot to begin with but i doubt its true. fasting detoxifies the body too

u just start gaining a lotta weight when u stop fasting

@gas lmao yea I stopped snortin yay recently and gained like 10 pounds hence the thread and fuck you quick lol I only weigh like 215ish but I'm tryna get down to 200 I aint fuckin obese

If you work out while you're fasting, your glycogen stores will be empty and will eventually start using your own muscle as fuel.
