we would be lucky.

if denver loses at least 2 (jazz/rockets) theyll be at 49-33 and if the warriors win out theyll be at 50-32 guaranteeing a playoff berth.
but really we dont deserve it. its too bad the year of the western conference is the year of the warriors-----downfall. we will be losing players and a coach very soon. back to rebuilding!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA QUITCHERBITCHIN!!!!!

Sure Denver lost to those 2 teams lately, but your warriors lost to denver 3 out of 4 times this year, twice at home....AND blew a huge lead in the biggest game that mattered of the season!!!!!! THAT'S NOT DESERVING EITHER...JUST LIKE I SAID IN POST 1 OF THIS THREAD!!!

Yeah^.... they were deeper with Jay Richardson and he gave them another scoring option. Their chemistry was good with Jay Rich.... With Ellis starting now... the Warriors don't have much fire power coming off of the bench. Last year when Ellis came off of the bench the Warriors were better.

Ill sacrafice one year of being a shallow team if it benifits the future. I can name way more pro's then con's in the J-Rich trade...if you dont see them thats your prob

The name them... Baron Davis isn't getting any younger and trading away Rich doesn't guarantee the Warriors success in the future. The Warriors miss J-Rich and it's showing. I am not going to compare Ellis to Richardson because that's besides the point. Ellis is deep, very deep but it helped the Warriors more when he came off of the bench to give them that extra fire power. They don't have that now do they? If so, they'd be in the playoffs. They were better last year because they were able to put J-Rich, Ellis, and Davis in at the sametime and play small ball forcing teams to adjust. That's how and why the pulled the upset last year against the number one seeded Mavs. If you can't see that then that's your problem.

LOL J-Rich helped for sure Im not denying that. But the team was never shit when we relied on him and never got over the hump til we got Jackson and Harrington. I loved J-Rich when he was a Warrior but the trade was good for the W's cuz..
-Got rid of J-Rich's contract to free salary to resign Ellis/Beans/Baron(?)
-Gave more time for Ellis to develope as a 2 gaurd. He's far better then a bench player like your suggesting
-J-Rich was at his prime, he wasn't gonna get any better..Mullin pulled a Billy Beane and got as much as he could for him at his peak banking on young talent to come through in the future..
-Brandan Wright
-We were overloaded with gaurds and someone needed to go..J-Rich was the most logical choice because he had good trade value and his contract would keep the Warriors from resigning more important pieces for the future.
-J-Rich had a great work ethic and heart but his skills lack in areas. His D isn't great, his ball handling sucks, he's never been able to shoot free throws and he can't create his own shot consistantly.
-Once again Brandan Wright...the dude is gonna be solid and give the W's what they need once he gets more PT.

The team would be better with J-Rich right now...but unfortunetly this is also the hardest year ever in the western conference..last year it only took 42 wins to make the 8th seed. If were that easy this year we wouldn't be having this conversation. The only players I care about seeing in a Warriors uni next year are Monta, Beans and Wright.

i love j-rich but he had to go. mully is smart unlike past GM's who draft todd fuller instead of kobe, or let agent zero go to washington despite him wanting to stay in the bay.

and i cant be mad at the dubs if they don't make the playoffs cause they have a better record this year, its just the whole west stepped it up. fuck the east.
