maybe Jrich woulda helped, probably would have, BUT are u gonna risk keeping Jrich over Monta or Bedrins ? with Jrich here, they couldn't sign both......so now we can sign Monta, and Beans, AND we got a talent in BWright. so something had to happen....

I dont see anything in B Wright, hes to undersized for the type of game he has. That shit might of worked in college, i dont think he has a jumper i could be wrong. Everyones so worried about the future when the Warriors still really havent addressed the same issue the Warriors have had for the past 20 years and thats having a true good center. Biendris is coo' but is not aggressive enough and is really not big enough to be and actual center eve though he does a decent job. I swear the Warriors are the only team on the planet that cant afford all these players that must be getting overpayed because ive never seen a team let great players go just cuz they cant afford everyone.

finding a GOOD center these days is like a longshot !!! it's no secret they need some beef down on teh blocks......i think Bedrins is fine at center, but need a power foward !!! if they can get Chris Wilcox cheap, and maybe Earl Watson, that wouldn't be half bad !!!

T-Rip nailed it... Why didn't they address their need for a center? All you gotta do is pound the ball inside on the Warriors. Should have traded J-Rich for a center if anything.

@3vid3nc3... about bench players.... do you think Manu Ginobli and Jason Terry are "bench" players? Or are they starters coming off of the bench to give their teams a spark? Just because a player is coming off of the bench doesn't mean he's a "bench" player.
That's why they're in the playoffs and the Warriors are not. They traded J-Rich so Ellis could start but that hurt their bench productivity.

The Warriors were orginally doing the trade in hopes to get Garnett but that didn't end up happening. He was the only great big man available that I can think of last offseason.

Theres no denying the bench was weak this year. But any other season the Warriors would've made the playoffs with the record they finished with so Im not gonna put all this blame on trading J-Rich and having a weak bench. JR was great when he was here but it was the right deal to make and Im done with this topic..
