An MRI of Vernon Davis’ injured knee revealed an MCL sprain that will cause the second-year tight end to miss a few weeks of action.

Davis was injured in the third quarter on a 22-yard pass play from Alex Smith that officials called an incomplete pass after head coach Mike Nolan challenged the initial ruling of a fumble.

Hopefully they put in Delanie Walker over Bajema.... He may not be as good of a blocker, but hes a above average recieving TE

how is he injury prone? he had a freak accident and broke his leg.

and now he gets a helmet to the side of his knee at full speed from polamolau while his cleats were planted in the field. both seem like freak accidents.

Alex Smith is a bust. Face it. I'm a niner fan but these are things I will admitt too.
Did you see the thread about this when I created it in the offseason? These boys came down on me pretty hard for saying Alex Smith is a bust.
