The show was terrible at first, but they started dropping the conservative stuff in season three and it wasn't one of the main focal points of the show anymore by season four.

I hated the show and didn't watch it on FOX but I started watching because it got added to Adult Swim and I'd just leave it on sometimes... It got good around the time of the episode where Stan is a killing virgin and a pedophile moves in down the street.

From season 3/4 on it's way better than Family Guy.

Thats funny cuz i feel like family guy tacs on the extra gayness lately with alot more rape and molestation shit too. Also i think i can gig more off the humor from it with roger since hes like a non gender alien opposed to stewie who was a mad hatter evil genius that they turned into a cross dressing gay baby.. Also Bryan is a douce so i rock with quagmire on fuck bryan hype
