You're better off getting it fixed first. That'll be yet another way the dealer will find a way to give you as little money as possible.

Unless you just want to do it the hassle free way. I'm sure they'll take the car, but you'll probably be upside down as far as the money goes.

If you don't mind paying for the repairs and what you owe on the car in the monthly payment, just bring it to the dealership and trade it in.

Whats the make, model and milege of your car?

Post your shit on craigslist and test the waters. If your car is bank owned, its not a problem. Once you and the buyer come to a pricing agreement, you can hit up your bank and the bank will take care of all the paper work.

If yuo want to trade in yuor car at the dealer and you're upside down on the loan (meaning you owe more than the car is worth), they will take the rest of what you owe and incorporate it into your new loan.

you should get it fixed first... even if you gotta cash out for it... you'll probably have more money in your pocket in the long run... you can get a lot more money for it

i bought my last whip off craigslist for $800, 200 dollars and a new head later, flushed the radiator.. car was running like new. 1997 ford exploder with 87k miles.. now its at like 112k from my driving.

list it as a mechanics special or something if you dont wanna bother with fixing it. Pretty sure someone will buy it.

i do mind paying for the repairs.
plus i fucking hate that car
its a bitch to pay insurance cause its considered a "sports" car
every part is expensive for that shit (which i do believe is just mechanics being liars)

if you wouldve hit me up a couple months earlier, i couldve hooked you up with a 95 mitsubishi eclipse, 1990 acura integra for 5 bills.. running.. registered and smogged.

My pops works in autobody and also used to be a mechanic so when his shop gets in cars that are considered totalled.. he fixes them up.

Yeah, for a newer car it would definitely be worth taking to a shop (not a dealership) to get the car fixed.

I have a guy that I go to who's reliable and cheap. Its in South City.
