Now it is painfully obvious you have not watched more than a few plays of the Broncos this year!

You like to constantly say you are right blah blah blah.....but do you really know the real reason they were getting beat sometimes this year???

NO FUCKING PASS RUSH, NO FUCKING RUN D!!!!

They had to constantly cheat up to either protect against run. and then no fucking pass rush what so ever....if you are so astute in your football knowledge you would know in order for any DB to both worth a damn they need to have at least a little pressure on the QB to give them time to react to play. DENVER HAS NO PASS RUSH!

Champ got beat a couple times but the niggest time he got beat was because he cheated on the run and they threw over hi and safety didn't come over and help......that has happened all year long....some would argue it is champ getting beat but to me safety needs to step over and do his job! One of the reasons I say this is champ loos back and that is when they should step over..they don't ..champ always has words with them afterwards.

Bly..ehh same thing....he is what he is...my only knock on him is he can't tackle worth a damn...but when you have champ and his tackling skills maybe you get spoiled?

Aight scary... now you want to question my football knowledge because those corners of yours continue to get beat huh? You're making up too many excuses. Have you ever heard of coverage sacks? Maybe if them overrated cornerbacks of yours would learn how to cover maybe just maybe that pass rush will get there. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'll take Baltimore's secondary over the Broncos (you see how much trouble they gave the Pat right?)

Just face it man... your DB's are overrated. Champ shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Deion Sanders. Champ gets beat (deep) too much. And Dre Bly? What can I say.....I've been telling you about that corner. I told y'all fools over and over that boy was going to get worked.

And we don't know what the play calls are out there until someone says something to the media about the coverage. How do we know that the safeties are supposed to help Champ out on certain play calls? The Raider DB's are better than the Broncos. I am beginning to think that #21 on our squad is better than Champ Bailey.

^On the real Lamberto, Champ has been beaten more than #21. We don't hear his name called too often because he barely gets balls thrown his way and he barely gets beat. And I think Fabian Washington is better than Dre Bly too. So yeah I think our cornerbacks are better than theirs. I know many may not agree but I gotta call it like I see it.

From another board, posted before the season:

Hmmm…Champ Bailey overrated? I’m thinking I’ve had The Big Lead overrated in my reading queue.

Obviously, everyone is talking about the 10 picks last year. What people miss is that those 10 came on 65 attempts his way. He only gave up an average of 4.7 yards per completion (tops in the league). Has he gotten burned before, of course even Deion got burned…at least Champ tackles.

Compare those stats to Asante Samuel, who took 85 attempts thrown his way to match up with 10 ints.

No one in the league is even close to being in Champ’s league. He doesn’t get thrown at much, but he will still smoke you.

I believe he is having an "off-Champ" year, and his injury is part of the reason why.

And seriously, EVERY SINGLE DB IN THE GAME GETS BURNED....its just a FACT. Especially when youre WR's are running 4.3 and are 6"5'.

"Shutdown" corners don't get beat like Champ does. And when did Deion get "burned"? The only person that got open on Deion was Jerry Rice. Deion maybe got burned when he returned to the Ravens after he retired. But when Deion was in his "prime" he didn't get burned. Champ is in his prime and he's been getting burned. "Don't, don't believe the hype"

Cocaine is a hell of a drug

For the record Champ iz the best corner in the league & yes he's one of the best to play the game. Deion was a speed corner( &couldnt tackle with his scary ass might I add) &Champ is a cover corner. Both were/are shutdown corners. And Al Davis would trade his corners for the Broncos corners any day of the week.

I still think Champ is one of if not the best corner playing in the game. however I do think Asomugha is raw and better than Bly.

and you're giving baltimore's corner's too much credit tony, i mean they're good, but it was the entire defense stepping up, the main reason they were playing well was the pass rush was there

Bomb is a hellava drug too...

LOL... everyone always says Deion couldn't tackle. Deion could tackle... he just wasn't a big hitter. Critics tried very hard to find a flaw in his game. Deion Sanders couldn't be touched period!! Champ is not a shut down corner. He's a good cover corner but he's not a shut down corner.

Dieon wasnt a great tackler...that is no secret. But thwe argument was that he didnt NEED to tackel becuase he was either NOT being thrown at or gettin picks/PD.

But to say Champ is overrated is ignorant...period. He is the best pure CB RIGHT NOW.

And regardless, EVERYONE gets burned....even Deion. In his prime or later. Just like Jordan got blown by sometimes and jump shots in his eye....NO ONE IS PREFECT.
