Dreggs One I feel that it does help cuz you get to see the mentality of these kids. The mainstream media will never tell our story. Unfortunately the majority of rappers are rapping about it because it's hot and not because they care about the community. What we are doing is uniting turfs via music and also donating resources to Youth Uprising in Oakland to teach the younger kids these conditions do not have to permanent.

i think its a good look and i would rather give them a chance first before sayin anythin but at the same time honestly, i think that instead of doin these branch outs it should be one big solid label for the whole bay to sign to and get behind really back each other up from verses to production to whatever. sign producers too. and just really make the shit happen on a bigger level for a bigger effect. start from a couple people down to sign to it and get the ball rollin.

to the person talkin about 40 doin somethin, as far 40 and swr, he already had his own formula and plans in stone from the beginning. every since solar music group (40's uncle, st. charles) and even before. it was suppose to be a family thing and maybe a couple folks. that's his family history. i wouldn't knock him for not signin everybody else. he doesn't have to. people shouldn't have to lean on 40 like he's the super hero of the bay. besides him there a whole bunch of talent out here.

The context I meant that in is that is one of the things contributing to not that many Vallejo rappers getting a shot, is because they were born on the wrong side of town. Thizz pretty much mainly signed cats from the crest, just one neighborhood. As good as cousin fik is, I doubt he would have gotten signed to sick wid it if he wasn't a family friend. Two of the biggest labels in the bay area, not just in the city of Vallejo, really don't do much to unite the town. I wasn't talking down on 40, he's a grown man, he can do what he pleases, it what it is.

oh no i understand i know you weren't, i know what you were sayin. but i be hearin others talk about 40 like its a must that he reaches out to the bay like omg we can't breathe wit out him and shit lol. yea i doubt he woulda got signed if it wasn't for that too. and laroo was a surprise to me when he got signed even tho 40 starred on the bay area muscle cd years before but then again 40 is related to the ceo of awol records haha but who knows. i'd say if a popular artist on 40's level wants unite shit in that way power to him but if not oh well.

oh yea and cam city way raw. the hood is me and aka baby new york be killin shit. killa keise sick too especially yellow tape zone. from readin the other comments i guess its ran by the same person but should be thinkin region instead of by cities. i mean thizz vallejo town thizzness thizz asian lol or whatever just seems too much imo. what's next thizz north bay south bay west bay east bay...lol! just makes the bay look even more separate wit these small branches.

but since they're doin it, i'mma check it out!
