where I live there's no such thing as a "snow day", we get too much snow between October to April that it would shut the city down, by January we'll be reaching temperatures of -40. Meanwhile in the summer June - August we reach temperatures of 110.

This was the first I've ever had in my working life. I didn't know they had them in this part of the country either. I think maybe it has to do with me working for an insurance company and it being so far out in the country that there are a lot of commuters from long distances and poorly plowed country roads.
Whatever I'm not complaining. I woke up at 4:30 am looked outside and said to myself there is no way we won't have work today I better get back to sleep and enjoy it while I can. Got up two hours later and work was called off and I don't think we had all that much more snow.
This shit was pretty wet and heavy though.
