FYE are not only sponsoring the Strange Noize 08 tour, but they got that big Tech N9ne contest going on at www.fye.com/wannawin.

...the thing that tickles me is, you would think FYE's Killer price would compete with Best Buy and Circuit City's (both places $9.99). Man why the hell is FYE selling Killer for $14.99???

and does anyone here know Target's price?

In fact that picture was of a female, of similiar resemblance to yourself, minus the hair.

I am forced to buy at FYE and put up with their shitty prices because it's the closest store. Fortunately, a Best Buy is being built about a mile and a half from my house, and it should be done around August.

FYE's main source of income comes from CD sales, while Best Buy/Circuit City make money on much more.

They have to have higher prices because CDs are their thing.
main source of income comes from DVD's and Games now. we sell cd's expensive for some weird ass reason but in Downtown stores i should my boss that the G-unit was 9.99 and we changed tech's to that as well. still didnt sell besides like 4 of em excluding mine lol.

I walked into an FYE the yesterday and I noticed they had all of the stickers they put on the packages over Tech's face. Fucks up with that?
cause it's company policy to put our telxions in the upper right corner and the sale price right below it. it's mainly for when we have recalls we dont have to look all over the place for the sticker.

Yea I noticed that at one of the FYE's I went to as well. I say "one" of because THAT one actually price matched Tech for me (sold it for 9.99 to match Circuit City's). The first FYE I went to, the manager wouldn't do it.

I did see that $13.99 price at Target. That's their regular price, and even then it's still a buck less than FYE's "sale" price. And I understand FYE's primarily CDs (among other things), but Everready was 9.99 the week THAT first drop. And I'm just saying, with all the stuff FYE's doing for/with Tech right now, would've made since for Killer to be 9.99 there as well.

That 12.99 deal or whatever is just for Fye.com not the actual stores.

Yeah I read an article recently saying how music chain stores are now becoming more DVD/Video Game based, only way to stay in business now in days.

FYE near me went out of business this year.
