There'sa difference between quality and mainstream. Frontline, Clyde Carson, (THE TEAM), Ya Boy, and Goldie Gold of Fedz got mainstream appeal along with flow style and lyrics. Fabby got a chance also...but i think his voice wont really catch the nation's attention on slow beatz
Messy, Quinn, and others from the bay with similar style or topic of music doesnt really have that mainstream feel to their music eventho it's some good shyt. Federation might just be a one-time thing. That hyphy feel is gonna die then everyone is gonna want something different. Thats how artists with mainstream appeal is gonna survive. Keep rapping about slangin, gunz, drugs, then hyphy, goin dumb, stupid, that shyt is gonna get worn out and qith quickness.
