Lmao @ Chree. Seriously. I never use the term "LOL" but I am laughing out loud right now.
@MzCin - Thanks for reminding me that's in my status, I gotta change it. I'm back in the good ol' US of A right now.
Spain is one of my favorite countries in the world. I was there over the summer, so the weather was kind of like Arizona. Real sunny, hot and dry. But beautiful. Over three months, I never once saw it rain. The people are really laid back...they have a much more personal way of life. Don't worry about money, go out with your friends and sit outside and drink espresso or beer. Clubs stay open till 8 am. I fell in love with the country while I was there. Plus transportation around Europe is cheap and fast. The subway, trains, planes...you don't even need to have a car. Madrid is right in the center of Spain, so you're about 250 miles from the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, Gibraltar, Africa. Its pretty cool if you're looking to travel.
If I had to recommend somewhere in Spain to go though, I'd say go to Barcelona. Madrid is like NYC. Real big and impersonal. The architecture is sweet...but its nothing compared to Barcelona. Its Spains "city by the bay". There's a lot of some of the world's best architecture there by Gaudi.
I traveled to a lot of other places in Europe too. If you want any advice, shoot me a PM!
