of course they do, Giants management is so stupid. I like what the Padres did right at the trade deadline, i may be jumping the gun but i think that won them the division actually making good moves unlike the Giants who didnt really do shit to help there cause

they needed LHP in the bullpen.. they got that.. but that was only half the equation.. they didnt address that 5th hitter who can go up to the plate and get it done.. im glad we didnt trade sanchez for what was available tho.. no dunn, no guillen no hart or nothing

definitely shouldnt give up a solid starter like Sanchez but they could have gave up some minor leaguers to some wack team and got something good in return. Seems to me they dont give a fuck enough about the offense and are trying to go with certain guys whether there getting it done or not so they dont have to spend much

Just wanted to say I was the game on Tuesday when the Giants blew out the Rockies.

The wifey and I were on vacation and caught the game with a few friends that moved out to Denver recently.

It doesn't help that they played against Ubaldo Jimenez, and Tim Hudson, two top NL pitchers. Tim Hudson had his good stuff last night. It really exposes the weak offense.

Freddy Sanchez and Pablo need to get their shit together ASAP. August is too crucial.

No excuses.... if this team wants to make the playoffs they need to be able to beat teams like that in the regular season too.... cant make excuses like that in the postseason or in the middle of a pennant race.. if they cant beat the braves then they dont deserve to be in the playoffs, thats real shit

and we cant keep ridin a 13 pitcher bench, need some position players.. what if matt cain got injured?

Good move, that free's up another spot on the 40-man roster. There are currently 38 players on it (DeRosa doesn't count since he's on the 60-Day DL), the two obvious choices to be added seem to be Thomas Neal and Brandon Belt. I think we'll see one, if not both of them in September as they'll provide even more position flexibility (OF/1B).
