Looks like Padres are startin 2 cool off perhaps?? As long as we keep winnin games and more importantly winnin series we should at the very least win the wildcard but the way we're goin we should win the NL west outright.. yarrrrra????

man that NL east has 2 very good teams in philly and atlanta too. that wild card with them st louis or cinci and us and either the padres or dodgers all fighting. there is less that 10 games separating all of us in the wild card right now. We are surely in a dog fight if we want in!

but i will say this.... if we make the play offs we might be a favorite in the NL based on pitching alone. them 5-7 games series where we go short rotation of 3-4 guys and zito or sanchez turn middle relief is gonna be tough!

Victorino and Howard went down.. STL traded away one of their better hitters
