Giants placed OF Mark DeRosa on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 9, with left wrist soreness.
As expected. DeRosa will continue to rest the wrist for now, but plans to be ready to return as soon as he is eligible next Tuesday. Don't be surprised if he eventually needs surgery.

damn, if only we can play the giants every game!!! i know the giants got a strong pitching staff but really what it comes down to, we are the two worst hitting teams in the division! thats why our games have been low scoring and close.............the giants gotta pick up a bat if they wanna compete. the dodgers need pitching, with the owners getting divorced i doubt that happens. i see colorado making a run as soon as they get healthy. they had a shit load of injuries early....and yes my pads will FADE>>>>>>>but we in sd are excited for the future. we were statistically the best team in the national league the last three months of the season last year and so far playing good this season, got good young talent and the next two years we should arrive

Out of the whole starting lineup I only see Torres and Schierholtz as being a threat to steal bases. But that's only if they even get on base, lol.

Sandoval - Fast for a big dude but not fast enough to steal
Molina - Forget about it
Huff - Slow
Uribe - Slow
Downs - Ok
Schierholtz - Fast enough


This offense can't get guys home, so sad. The starting rotation is doing good enough to win almost everygame now.
