funny how suddenly there are giants fans posting that haven't been around the past couple games when shit was hitting the fan. i guess not just the padres have fairweather fans

but congrats to the giants. the padres went down fighting and i'm proud and pissed at them at the same time. but the g-men obviously wanted it more.

i dont care for the giants, but bochy is the man. i hope he gets the ring he deserves. he'll always be a padre to a lot of us. his wiki page even still has him in padre uniform

i need to get away from baseball now. wound is too fresh to watch these playoffs. ill just wait to go to peoria next spring. talk to you shit fuckers then.

then you got swept right back in your next world series appearance, it's alright bro, i'd be mad too seeing the a's give away their best players and get nothing in return; Andre Ethier, Carlos Gonzales, Matt Holiday. What could of been eh?

So are we talking offseason baseball in here??

Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News hears that the Giants will "entertain the notion" of signing free agent outfielder Carl Crawford.
In contrast with Pat Burrell, Baggarly writes that the Giants "can and certainly should" seek a better two-way player in left field. Crawford obviously fits that description, but the problem is that many other teams are looking for the same exact thing. The price will be sky high.

Jon Heyman of SI.com hears that the Phillies might consider trading for Aaron Rowand if the Giants are willing to pick up most of his remaining salary.
With Jayson Werth expected to leave via free agency, look for Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro to add a right-handed bat this winter. According to Heyman, the Phillies may even consider free agent Magglio Ordonez. Rowand is an interesting idea until you realize that he is almost exclusively a center fielder and has struggled miserably against left-handed pitching each of the past two seasons. By the way, Rowand is also owed $12 million in 2011 and 2012. Ordonez would be a far more savvy addition.
