The Raiders get a 1st round pick, Franchise QB in Palmer. I think the Raiders get screwed having to give up ANYTHING more than their 1st rd pick for 2012... Thats where my complaint would be. Its his free agent year coming up I believe... This is a pure Money Run for the Raiders. Lets hope he takes them to the promise land... I love seeing good football being played in the Bay area!

Bad move by the Raiders. Carson Palmer is done! I seen it his last year playing with the Bengals. To bring him in at his age and decline for a 1st round and conditional is horrible considering the Raiders need multiple draft choices and positions of need.
Next year you guys barely have any draft picks, and this does nothing but hurt your cap even more when you have to pick up free agents and vet minimum free agents. QB got hurt, suck it up and don't panic...this was a panic move like the Colts made when they signed another over the hill guy in Kerry Collins who was also done.
You suck up the loss of Campbell and you live to fight another year, because you weren't going to the Bowl this year anyway but things were looking on the UP. AND EVEN If you are to mortgage the future you spend two picks or whatever on Andrew Luck the best rookie prospect since Payton not on Carlson Palmer.
QB isn't the reason that you are not elite...its that poor defense. If you ask me who's had the best season in their career I'd tell you Palmer over Campbell, but who's been the most consistent and who's better now I would go Campbell. Same thing I said when my Skins got a over the hill McNabb...peep this and tell me what you think.
