Then came the 45-7 and 70-3 ass whoopins/beatdowns, now he's talkin' about a glitch!

Can't wait to ball with Carson it's gone be fun!!

I don't know why people keep calling this an "Al Davis" move. Al would never have given up potentially two 1st rounders. Especially after just going without one in the 2011 draft. An Al type move would have been to get orton for a 3rd or 4th, then use him to shit on the donks. Al liked getting players that the other teams didn't want anymore. the bangles wanted him, he just didn't want them.

I don't know about this one, if we don't go to the afc championship game this year and then it wasn't worth it.

folks are putting to much on if the Raiders don't go this far then it wasnt worth. We needed a proven qb asap and I will be happy as fuck just to see the Raiders in the playoffs

Jason Campbell (broken collarbone) has likely played his last game with the Raiders following Tuesday's Carson Palmer trade.
The trade makes it even more likely that Campbell will be placed on injured reserve. Oakland restructured Palmer's contract to $43 million through 2014, so Campbell won't be back as a free agent in 2012. After showing at least moderate improvement this season, Campbell will enter the open market alongside Alex Smith as the top quarterbacks available in the offseason.

i own it on the ps3 but never play it. i dont really like this trade. I think palmer will be rusty as fuck and his career has been on the decline. I just think we gave up way to much for a washed up qb. I hope he proves me wrong though because i wanna see us make the playoffs and more.

This thread got too long to read all that shit.
I saw people talking about draft picks being a problem in the Palmer trade...

There is always a next year. Meaning that we can always trade away future picks for picks now. The Raiders have done this for a long time. Who the fuck wants to win in a few years. The time is now. Fuck the future, there is always 7 more picks coming the next season to trade away.

I feel bad for JC, I liked him as a QB. We'll see how Palmer plays, I'll be there watching drunk from the 3rd deck.

I heard we also get a draft pick if Jason Campbell signs somewhere as a FA next season... which he will do in all likelihood... soo yeah

I was kinda iffy on the trade this morning... but the more I think about it, the more I'm getting juiced... the potential for this team is crazy

I was listening to 95.7 The Game on the way home from work, and they were talking about the Raiders expectations just shifted from winning the division to winning the conference... and that it could really happen

I'm not gonna go that far just yet... but to hear that shit got me pumped

deal was a big ass gamble. considering the factors of palmers knee injury, not playing in a long time, his stats declining since his rookie season, and giving up two first rounders plus exhausting the cap is crazy. if it was my team i would hate that move, but good luck to yall.

Shit im glad to see the Raiders get Carson Palmer, some of yall feel like they gave up alot but having a first round pick dont mean shit.....half of those motherfuckers drafted in the first dont do shit in the pros....it a risk but he's proven in the past that he is one of the better QB's in the league...
