Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell is out of surgery on his fractured right clavicle and his doctor told Campbell's fiance that the procedure went 'smooth' and that his recovery should be 'just fine.'

Campbell decided surgery was the best route for the injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Browns. Although disappointed, the Raiders' starting quarterback remained optimistic Monday at the team's facility, hoping he'd be able to return in 6 weeks.

I exchanged texts with Campbell and his family Monday afternoon as he prepped for the procedure and, at 8:30 pm, found out from his fiance that Campbell's out of surgery and that the 'Doctor said everything went smooth! And he should recover just fine.'

She also added that after not eating since 9:30 this morning, the first thing Jason asked for was a double cheese burger. Guessing he's hungry for a speedy recovery, too.

nah man, jack tracks is real deal die hard bleeding silver and black

that guy is traveling to GB to watch the Raiders play the Packers on the road... that's die hard right there... pretty sure he hits all the home games too

he's just calling it like he sees it... I'm not gonna go as far to say the season is over... but I'm not feeling too good right now myself. it's not like jack or other fans like myself are gonna stop supporting the team, but when shit looks bad... you just gotta call it how it is

I'm trying to be optimistic right now... but it's hard man

why the hell would the season be over? its not like campbell has been winning games for us, on the contrary when he does good we lose.

in all 4 wins, including sunday, the quarterback has thrown for under 200 yards. and only once got close to 200.

week 1 105
week 3 156
week 5 190
week 6 100 + 52 for a total of 152

in the loses campbell had over 300 yards is each.

we dont need a great qb, we just need someone who can manage the game and not make mistakes. thrown a couple screens and slants and give the recievers a chance at the ball and we'll be fine, i think boller can do it.

he's been hating on the squad since before the season even started. dude was acting like we were gonna go 0-16.

Jack Tracks is just negative when it comes to the Raiders. That's him. Some fans think undefeated superbowl winning seasons each year, others hear a player broke their pinky toe and think the season is lost. Tony is an entirely different sort of person who values madden rankings over actual performance.

And for the record, I think Campbell is average, Boller is ass and Pryor is a gigantic question mark, but in all likelihood will lose more games for us than Boller will this year. I'm still behind Pryor over Boller, but it's damn near like donkey fans who are for young Timmy Tebow over Orton, which is insane.

we gotta see what boller looks like after a full week of practice with the starters. either way, it's nice to see the D step it up against the run game finally. when's the last time we were ranked below 20th in run defense?

we're ranked 22nd in run defense... still not good enough... but the last 2 weeks have been good

our defense is gonna have to step it up if we wanna have a chance this season

I think between Hue's play calling and McFadden going off... our offense should still be OK... I don't think they'll be as good as they've been, but that's why our D needs to step it the fuck up

Theres no context in words on here I was only kidding. I do come off as negative on here but I'm actually very optimistic about the team no matter what. I'll make an effort to be more positive cuz I hate fuckin negative nancy's..

I'm not trippin about campbell. He's showed us why he's not the ultimate answer but he was getting the job done well and losing him really hurts. I really liked campbell he was a hard worker and a great leader. The type of guy you root for and want to suceed. That being said his role is relatively easy to replace. We will be fine.

This is coming at great time though with a weak kc team and then the bye. We win this week and we are still sitting pretty heading in to the bye week. As of now Boller and Pryor scare me but it's all we got and damn right I'm supporting them to the fullest. Only guy I hated and booed at games was n miller but he's gone. And the only reon I hated him is cuz he was a little white guy who I wanted to love but he always was such a let down

I'm hoping we get a deal done for Orton to be completely honest. Give them a late pick and pick up his contract. He is leaps and bounds better than Boller

Fuck where is Bruce.. We need thAt dude to get loose again..

How about DHB dude has played amazing this year. Defense killed it last week. Hue is the man wish he was coach last year we would been even better..

End if the day we are 4-2 through 6 games McFadden is leading the league in rushing and this is the best record we've had in forever. I just wish we weren't going though this qb bs.

Can't help to think how great this team would be with an elite qb spreading the ball around and then watching dmc go off..

I say we go wildcat all game long.

DMC qb, bush/reece and ford/Moore/ausberry..

The whole game all game long. You can't tell me we wouldn't put up Hella points..

Is the Favre watch on yet. That would be awesome. He'd be perfect. Throw bombs and hand off to dmc he'd be perfect..

I was looking at yards per game, we're ranked 16th in that. 22nd in total yards, but we haven't had our bye yet and a lot of other teams have.
