Irritated was all he could get 'cause it was a sure bet that Robert Van Winkle wouldn't say shit to Hammer's face though. We can clown him for dancin for Taco Bell and "Too Legit To Quit" but at least we never heard about Hammer gettin hung by his feet over a balcony and then catchin amnesia about it on 20/20. lol
JT and San Quinn
I know around 1998 or so JTs GetLow label was starting to plateau a bit. They eventually lost their contract with Priority records. I think a lot of Quinn's beef ith JT ended up being over money that was either artist royalties or artist advance money that he collected off Quinn's music. There was also a lot of other shady shit going down within the label and JTs studio at one point was robbed. I don't want to speak more on something I don't know so I will stop it at that. I know if you listen to Quinn's interviews he is a real humble dude and he doesn't really speak on it. I remember people asking Quinn about albums JT continued to put out years after he left with his name on it and he was like thats just JT being JT. The Fig don't really talk much about it either and since then they've obviously got it back together and are woring together and whatnot again.
There was a great Quinn track which was dropped in 1999 called "Fillmoe 2000" that can be found on his "Repossesions" album or the compilation "Well Connected" that speaks on what was going on with Quinn in detail.
