Back in the day they were pretty good friends although they were from rival hoods.....X use to hustle for Meek and Meek invested money into Black Market helping X as far as financing his studio time and shit like that.
When X was on trial for murder according to him he said Meek testified against him in court as a character witness which didn't help X at all as far as fighting his case.
I heard stories about when X got caught for murder he was up in the Boys Ranch cuz he was still a minor which is in Rancho Cordova.....I heard shit about Bloods getting at that nigga and so in and so forth and thats what inspired the song Boys Ranch by Young Meek when he was dissing X-Raided....I even heard Meek was in the Boys Ranch with X at one point but I don't know if that's true or not.
Meek is pretty well known around Sac and was always a get money nigga....He wasn't known as a hardcore banger but his brother C-Bo had a serious rep in the streets....Only reason I think X don't go all out on Meek is prolly out of respect for C-Bo cuz X and Bo were both riders for GBC before this rap shit popped off.....I remember the early 90's quite well and Meeks hood and X's hood were really at war for real and both their hoods are right accross the street from each other.
