Wagner and Smith have been out since this week more or less, so they wanted playing time before the season started. They took Sherm and Maxwell out the first series, as well as ET. Not sure if Kam was out there. The entire DL was taken out for 2nd and 3rd stingers. Outside of the first drive, there was 2 plays resulting in TD's, with 75% of the 1st stingers outs.

Are you really bragging on a preseason game? Holy shitballs.
Oh ok. See I don;t know Seattle as well as their fans do so I purposely started with "I could be wrong".. I don't have any stock in raiders I'm about the 9ers but I also like to keep an eye on Seattle haha I don't do the bragging shit because Last thing I want with a loss is some dude shovin it in my face because I wouldn't shut my mouth lol

A OAK team going up against a bunch of guys fighting for roster spots, aka 3rd stringers?
This is why people responded, it wasn't about bragging about a preseason game

Holy shitballs

And I love how the 9er fans are responding but that's supposedly raider fans bragging about preseason games

I won't even mention butchers presuperbowl season record....oops

By the time OAK scored that 2nd TD, half the D starters were already pulled, including 3 of the 4 DLmen. The 3rd TD? Only Smith, Wagner, and Kam remained on the field. Sherm and Maxwell had already been pulled, as had ET. The first drive? Yeah that was all 1st teamers. Big deal! One drive! The score was 7-7 at that point and they pulled pretty much ALL the 1st team offense out outside of Turbin, Britt, and Okung.

Good luck this year Raiders...youre going to need it. And i dont mean that in a dick way, but its been a rough time for you guys and im tired of the 9ers being the king of the Bay. Do work.

Seahawks D got worked, i would be worried about that. A fucken rookie qb drives right down the field on the #1 defense??????? Btw the Raiders didnt even play there starters on defense at all today not even saying that the 1st stringers are great but just stating the truth.

no starting running backs or wide outs either. pretty sure it was the starting oline though.

was that second td to moore not a sherman matchup? or was it some other long haired cb he beat?

It was hard to see both those touchdowns, they werent in my endzone.

so the dilemma is, our 2nd round draft pick is better than our man-titty havin veteran, and our 1 year of experience scrappy no vision starter from last year.

If hes the best, why not play him? Its clear as day, not only does he have the best arm, he has the best vision, and runs the offense the best.

Were not going to win the division regardless of whose our starting qb. I see it happening 2 ways; 1st way, we start schaub week 1 (if hes healthy). we let him attempt a comeback or whatever you want to call it. then when his ass is kicked, and he falls to injury or from the organization being fed up with losing, we put carr or mclovin in. best case scenario, carr doesnt get injured early on, and maybe gets some starting experience late in the season

2nd way, we start carr and gamble. best case scenario, we attempt to contend with teams in our division, and have something to look forward to on gameday. worse case scenario, carr gets injured and our outlook for the next season gets blurry. plus we have to down grade and start schaub or mclovin.

#1 defense missing a bunch of guys, sure. Like I said, not worried. Third pre season game usually is the most important and Seattle was up 31-0 at half against a more potent bears offense. Not sure what the point of raiders defense is since there was no Lynch and Wilson played one series (and scored a TD). If you're impressed by them stopping Jackson/Pryor and back up running backs that's cool

How you think we feel?!? I can already see this being a rough year with how schuab looks plus 3 playoff teams in our division as well as facing every team that played in the conference championship games last year....but at least the future is looking bright with Carr

I didn't want Carr to be the starter immediately...I wanted schuab to start when we acquired him, but it's evident that he does not have it anymore. Seeing mcgloin put up points made me want him to start. But it's clear as night and day that Carr is out best QB. He's ready and I like what I saw of him last night live

You want McGloin to start? Carr clearly looked better of the two.
