It was good all the way up until they were all at the cabin trying to kill each other. From that point on it was kind of predictable and lacking something. Before I saw the movie I had the impression that they were going to be rounded up by the father and tortured. I imagined that he was going to capture them, maybe tie them all up and do some serious damage (being a doctor and all). But as it turned out he just fought/killed them all. Which was better than nothing I guess. I was satisfied with the movie, but I thought it could have been a little better.

The remake missed the fuckin point. I was hyped watching a remake, cause the og gave room for improvement, but they fucked it up imo

Was pretty much just shakin my head the whole way through...sucked donkey balls.

yeah it was missing some substance, I was expecting more since I typically like those types of movies (Vacancy, The Strangers, etc.) but it was cool for what it's worth.
Strangers was ok, but you liked vacancy???? man that was one of the worst (horror bigger budget) movies I have ever seen in my life from script to acting. you knew what was going on from the get go, f/x (what little there was) sucked.

I don't care what anyone says I thought Vacancy was a dope movie. Now I also watched it at a crappy motel with my ex at the time so that may have added to it. But overall it was one of the better American Horror movies in years. I'm not saying it was up there with The Shining or whatever, but american horror movies have pretty much sucked crusty ass for approximately 10 years or so.

The OG last house on the left was pretty garbo by my standards for today, but back then it was some new shocking type shit people werent used to. Thats the reason it has the rep that it does.

Vacancy was funny as fuck to me because it was too predictable. I was very entertained though and enjoyed it.

Vacancy 2 was a better movie though. Go see that if you haven't!
