on the notion of racism, anyone who doesnt realize its going on everyday all over the united states is simply ignorant. white, black, latino, asian, or whatever, racism is a rampent part of this nation and if u cant see that u need to stop reading threads in a forum and go outside. racism isnt just something u see 'in the hood' or towards black people. almost every single race is scared or hateful towards other races. whites are scared of blacks, blacks hate whites, asians still lock their doors when blacks drive next to them and mexicans hate everyone. if u think about it, one person is gonna be most comfortable with its own race. its basic animal instinct. u dont see tigers kickin it with lions. their both felines, but they dont fuck with each other nonetheless.
but theres a bigger issue than all of that..
ive talked to brothas, vatos, skins, azn priders, and even some of the most jihad motha fuckas out there. ive heard all of the shit. blacks: "i blame the white corporate america for all of this racism. every white person is the devil". skins: "im not against rap. im not against rappers. but i am against those thugs. its this black crime and black ecclecticism(typo) that is degrading the white race". i hear this kind of shit from all kinds of races out there. what i dont understand is why the FUCK dont people start lookin for solutions to these problems. man i read this entire thread and heard people saying 'theres more racism against whites on this forums' and others saying 'white people just dont realize the real racism going on here'. yeah, so what? not only are people not coming up with logical solutions to these everyday problems (white and black, and yes both races r the problem of racism regardless of who started what), but all these blanket mindsets of entire races of people. i believe there was someone that said "i just dont like white people. white people are the devil." i can understand that there are a lot of white people that r a fuckin bitch to deal with and have probably fucked over more of brothas lives than they really deserve, but whats the benefit in generalizing a whole race? man a lot of yall seem to forget that not more than 60 years ago there were brothas out there tryin to breakdown these walls of hate and rejection. im startin to think that one of the most important people in black history as someone who was trying to breakdown this wall of hate after being brutily shot at his own seminar is being tragically forgotten. there are problems that we're livin wit and i find it really somewhat pathetic that brothas and white boys alike r just perpetrating the train of never ending hatred. how r we ever gonna stand up as a human race if a homie cant accept a white man standing next to him. how can white people accept a culture of constant stuggle without understanding his or her struggle. this pessimistic outlook on racial issues will not fix ANYTHING.
i know this thread has totally strayed off of the goin dumb discussion, but i just feel that there is something deeper. and just so i can put my thought on it, i wish it werent true and i wish people could just realize that this movement is just about having fun, but sadly there ARE going to be people that turn on MTV and think black people are pathetic and "being dumb". but in the end, the music industry is a business. it all comes down to 40's and keak's paycheck at the end of the month. and its going to keep getting bigger and more and more people are going to complain about it. i wish humanity was smart enough to realize this is just a way to have fun, but man... people are stupid ! lol. anyways, that was a lot of typing.
