I think you're missing the point MooreBlock530.. Dre couldn't care less about trying to capture Lil Wayne's fans. It's crazy to suggest not featuring him on Detox is a mistake. Dre doesn't put out little bullshit compilations man. If you want to hear Lil Wayne rap on a Dre beat, I can understand that. But you want him to put Mr. Lollipop on Detox? You might as well be talking chinese cuz that just doesn't make any sense.

why you putting words in dres mouth?

id rather assume that dre wants to put the best album out as possible and push as many units as possible....then to assume that he doesnt want to "capture lil waynes fans"

from what ive read HE WILL be on there......and id rather put my faith in dre on his album then some fan that doesnt want a certain artist on there "just because".....

if wayne has verse on detox im 100 percent postive that it will shit on N E verse on the carter 3.....

if yall rather have some left coast no-bodies on the album other then sum raw talent then thats YOU...Dre WILL put the hottest artist on there and crush your hopes and dreams

dre is as mainstream or MORE mainstream then lil wayne is....i dont get the fuss....?

I'm not. You must not pay any attention to Dre speaks because everything I've said outside of my personal opinion on Lil Wayne, has come from Dre himself. He uses his albums to showcase new talent that hasn't already 'made it'. He prefers to work with new talent, not people who've already 'made it'. Those are his words homie.

Right on the first part, wrong on the second. Yes, Dre wants to put out the best (in his opinion) album possible, and when it's released, "it does what it does". Dre cares about the material, not the soundscans. If he was so worried about the numbers, he wouldn't be a trendsetter.

Don't take this the wrong way but you really need to start paying attention to Dre's interviews.

We'll see who's on there when Detox is available for purchase.. And as I've said, there are a number of reasons I prefer Lil Wayne not be on there (with examples given) so it's obviously not "just because". Just a fan... Had to laugh at that one.

I'm sure Lil Wayne would be pleased to hear that.

I really hope you're joking because comments like that are moronic. As I've already stated, and Dre has as well, I'd like to hear new talent on Detox.. Not pop radios prom king/queen of the week.

The more of that kind of nonsense I read from you, the harder it is to take anything you say seriously. Everyone has the right to their opinions though and you shouldn't let others upset you so much when they don't agree with you.
