what i wanna know is how can a pair of shoes (assuming that that's how the funk really started) lead to such an unforgivable animosity towards each other than can only be compared to the KKK's hatred towards african americans? call me old fashion, but that sounds silly as fuck to me

another story i heard is that the funk started because the southern mexicans looked down upon the northern mexicans for being farmers.... now that i can understand.... but that shoe thing sounds really far fetched... mexicans killing each other over some funk that started over a pair of size 10 adidas
