i dont really care for this album. granted ive only listened to it one time through but there wasnt one song that made me push the back button and listen to it again. Anghellic is in my top 5 cd's ever made in any genre so its not that Im not a tech fan but I think that when Anghellic came out it was at a certain point in my life that it really captured me. Now that Im older I see Tech as making music for the 21 and under crowd mainly. Theres no denying his flow or his grind but after Absolute Power his music just didnt grab me the way it used to. Maybe the bar got set too high after Anghellic or something I dont know. I will definately give it another listen though.

edit: i take that back I did listen to Demons a few times now that I think about it

Ive listened to the album twice completely through and think it's great. the way the tracks are set up and the overall dark tone makes it good. Tech poured his heart & soul on this.

I like a few tracks but overall I have the same problem with this album as most of his recent albums - the choruses are often whack. Often times there will be a tight beat, or a decent beat, good flow, good lyrics, etc., but then the chorus comes and it's either corny as fuck, too weird, or simply sounds like shit, and that ruins the song and I wont listen to it. Sometimes that shit works out well, but more often then not it doesn't. I like the old tech with the simple choruses of him just rappin much better, imo.

i agree with you about those songs, but you mentioned 10 songs out of a 23 track album and a double disc....

I agree with 2-0-Sixx the more I listen to the album. Although I do like the weird choruses, the others seem to follow the same pattern of writing "lead-in-sentence/chant/lead-in-chorus/chant", etc.

I'd be happy with a chorus restructure on upcoming songs.

I never really liked techs newer hooks either lol it's either they work or they dont.... a lot of them sound the same...... I think thats why Anghellic was praised as much as it was....Most the hooks were solid,

Agreed. He has far overused Krizz as his hook singer. They always sound very similar and not much thought into em. So for that arguement I do actually agree with.

I dont see why I nor anyone needs to "read further" into your posts Killa. Just try to make sense of what your talking about and lay it out there for all to understand. I see I am not alone in tryin to understand your jumbling.

I for one will admit I thought this would be another rushed album, because I though thats what we got with Killer. But this album was put together is about the same time Killer was, and it far outshines it. So timing IMO doesnt have anything to do with it. Its just the content Tech decides to record and put down. The beats he chooses and the choruses he chooses I think are what affects mostly how we percieve the album. Because I think we all can agree his flow and skill is above par with each album. A unoriginal/weird/similar/lame hook will effect alot of how the song goes over with fans. Which I think the more of those we get the more "rushed" feeling we get thinkin he didnt take the time to find good beats or write good hooks...

Seven, Matic Lee, Youngfyre all bring the heat...

I mean getting some Necro beats or even some Traxster would've only helped make the sound greater for Tech, but I think the album's production was fine.

Sounds like he took plenty of time. Tech is one of the very few artists that CONSISTENTLY puts out quality albums, especially lyrically.

We all have our own opinions, but sometimes those opinions just dont make sense.

His beats suck consistently and he is turning into an emo rapper except for when he pumps out faggot club shit..
