I'm not ruling out death row as an overall suspect to Pac's murder. On top of who hit him, there could be upwards of 15 different cats that you could put away for conpiracy to commit murder, all associated with death row. Who knows though, Suge Knight is an OG. Bottom line. If he did kill pac, nobody will never know.
Anyway. Given Tech's past music and everything he's done, if he signed under such a mainstream heavy hitting label as Interscope/Afterman/Shady and all that, I think they would pressure him to change up things he has planned. Personally, I'd just love to see Strange blow up after THEY THEMSELVES drop Everready.
Tech has said it countless amounts of times (dont take that serious, I dont need to hear wunna you werid muthafuckaz counting throughout interviews and T9X and all that and giving me a number) that if he were to sign to a major label, they would have to be payin him good as hell and it would all be under his terms. If this rumour is true, it seems Tech just didnt feel the offer he got was going to advance his career in the exact direction he wanted. bottom line, right there. A couple punk rock/indie bands have signed to major labels in the past few years, and it killed their core fanbase a lot. Some of them kept their music good and kept the fans, but most of them end up losing the fans that will PAY THEM OVER TIME so they could gain fans that will pick up 1 cd and then be on to the next flavor of the week by the time they release their next one.
Personally, If TECH signs to a major label I think it will benefit him more than the label that signs him. It seems to me Tech loves his fans a lot and would never want to jeapordize losing the same people (almost every one of us here) that helped get him to where he is today. Major record labels are in it for the money and paper. Whether or not Tech has the potential to get them that is unquestionable among us current fans, but since it would all be under only Aaron's terms, I dont think the label would get the coin that tech n9ne could get for them.
Either way, I think Tech is puting all the effort he can for everready and major label or not, his sales are gunna be great. Given, it gets promoted correctly.
