You people are amazing. Dont get me wrong I love Tech but do you really think he got it like that to turn down aftermath?? Oh please!! Tech aint doin enough to play hardball. I swear no disrespect but yall sound like a bunch of pityful po ass dick riders! Use common sense but then again common sense aint all that common anymore.

or he can stay independant and sell less records... but keep a ton more of his money.

the thing is, it's great if tech get's these kind of offers and it's also greats if he picks up one of them. but you also gotta remember that Strange/MSC is NOT your typical independent label. having mark cerami and the other dude on your team is a huge fuckin bonus... so i guess what i'm trying to say is that only tech and travis have the insight to make their decision and it's rreally not even worth it debatin something like 'they shoulda done this and that' on a message board

I don't expect you understand anything about respect or hustle with all the hatin' I see you doing. Best believe I aint swingin', ridin', or bungy jumpin' off no mans nuttz, dicc, or status. As an artist and a fan it's jus a common interest in seein' someone accomplish their goals and dreams in this music, and gettin' their music to the masses, and capitolizing on it.

Real simple....Tech & Strange Music already get like $8 on each cd.....you sell 100,000 copies and what do you have? That's right, $800,000.
Now Aftermath comes in......
- sees that you are 4 songs away from a completed album
- already have an established merchendise line
- been building your fan base through touring
- already have a crew of people working for the company
- and you have a label and brand name imprinted with thousands of fans
- already have a shit load of connects with BIG people in the industry
With all that and more, anything less than $1 Mil off top is a low ball figure. Yes he "got it like that" and yes he will be gettin that.
Shut your dirty tramp mouth and go back to speaking on shit that you "KNOW" about.
