I went and bought my copy (not downladed or bootlegged) and I was disapointed. I must admit I fell into all of the hype of Big Von dropping hella bombs all over their club banger HOT IN HERE...but I bought the album and found myself feeling like I was hearing the same verses over and over again. Box Chev's Purple, Rippas all over the place...I was really let down. I have listened to it a few times with the hope that it would sound better...it doesn't. Maybe Girls will like it because it seems that, that is who they were attempting to touch on this album. I hope the best for them, but there album didn't in anyway live up to the hype...I'll put it like this your singles should never be your best songs they should only be the songs to draw you in to see the bigger picture of the album....Not a hater just a fan who isn't a fan anymore due to another album that didn't live up to the hype.

I agree and not fealing only thirteen tracks. I thought their would be a hidden track or something. The beats were fire, but I can tell this is a cd that will get played out quick like the federation cd. Same too many tracks on the radio and not enough exclusives. I have heard 4 out of the thirteen tracks. Year + wait for the album :/. I think their mixtape Beyond The Glory was tighter.

I heard it, didn't like it. Toooooooo many girl songs. I know women are the ones who buy albums, but damn...Kaz was bustin, but Clyde Carsons verses were a big let down.

ok, just finished listening to the full thing.

From the get go, I think it does sound bland...like its lacking some sort of movement. But thats just the feel of the album, its totally laid back, save for maybe "it's gettin hot." However, im feelin it overall....its not as hot as i thought it would be, but i still like it a lot. I could play it all the way through, which is tight. Not every song is dope to the fullest, but there are few albums that are. All in all, i give it a 8.5/10. I think the more I listen to it, i'll like it.

On another note...not having "rock that shit" is one thing, cuz they couldnt clear the use of the sample, but where the FUCK is "tonight"? thats my favorite song this year, and i was absoultely dissapointed it wasnt on the album....i cant get over it. How could you not get that song on the album? it just fuckin sucks. If they had both those songs on there, this would be a classic first album, with 4 or 5 hit singles coming off it, and several other dope songs. I dont get it.

lol, on another note, thats dope that Keak Da Sneak is dropping another album "soon," along with a Clyde Carson solo...that'll be dope too...i guess MoeDoe is going for a black power sorta thing here, with the titles "The Negro League," "Kunta Kinte" and "the jackie robinson album"...i'll be looking forward to those releases.

also, whats up with "hyphy juice"? is that gonna be a new energy drink or what?

I'm feelin' the fuck outta the album. KAZ rips that "I Gotta Call" shit and "The Cycle" give's them more depth than just runnrs and rippers. "G.A.N.G.S.T.A." is hard. The production's tight.

cop the album, if u into this style. its hot....what i meant by what i posted, is that i hyped this album for months, and was just slightly dissapointed, but will still slump it. if u werent lookin forward to it as much as i was, u'll still like it. this album was just my most anticipated album of my life.

It wasn't that bad in the same breath is wasn't that good. I think the singles are cool, but they sound like they wisperin on every song. The best song they had IMHO was Rock Dat Shit and it wasn't even on there. I see what they were tryin to do by going after the ladies, but the production wasn't tight enough to pull it off. I was thinkin that there rapping was going to be better then that and they was going to talk about more topics...there verses were interchangable from song to song and that ain't a good thing. I did like about 4 of the songs, but for the hype KMEL is giving them and Big Von being on the cd saying they gone change and take over the Yay...Nope it doesn't live up to that...But i will give it a 6 1/2 out of 10.

The shit is tight...different from everybody eles shit..they got they own style....the rep the bay in their own way...and that's what makes them stand out...we need them here in the bay. they put out their approach to the bay night life. feel me. as long as everyone stays on their own shit....it' all good. they shit is slap though...rhymes n rythm is very much on point...they got a good formula....
