Frontline, Quinn and The Team are definately the hottest known Bay albums to release this year, no doubt. 3 completely different styles of Hop Hop music coming from the bay is beautiful. Production was on point, lyrics were on point. You cant hate on these albums because its not the same old 1993 Casio produced Bay Music. This is the bay thats about to blow up.Get on the train before it leaves without you.

1. No one was HATING on The Team....Dude said he wasn't feelin it....What's wrong with that?

2) 1993 Casio produced Bay Music? Dog the Bay has SHINED from its past...Maybe YOU don't feel that "old shit" but that's our foundation....and please believe that it ain't amateur....I never heard yer name until recently.

3) Hop On The Train huh? So we should just follow what everyone else is doin? Yeah THAT'S gonna get u far. I say make the music YOU feel and fuck what people expect out of you....The cats that do THAT are the ones that really blow.

What does hearing my name have to do with anything I just said? We need to support everything that comes out of the Bay. I wasnt looking for DJMark 7's recognition in the statement I just made. If what these cats want is more major labels to come to the bay looking at our independents then they need to support the next mans album and hope that his sells to. Independents down south are selling 50,000 , we are selling 3 to 7 thousand. And those sales are going to our most known like Quinn. Marv etc. If Quinn and Marv were down south they would be independent millionaires with the same recognition. So why is that? I would say its because we are all seperated over here. The backpackers support the backpackers, the gangsters support the gangsters and the "strictly for party" listeners support the "strictly for party" rappers. If we all came together and supported all walks of music in the Bay, no one could deny our talent. You cant talk about wanting the Bay to blow up and then not talk about hopping on the train when it leaves. Thats what everyone seems to want. That big payday for the bay. Thats what I hear in the music. Of course Im not saying everyone needs to sound alike. But its obvious our old regional sound wasnt doing it for us nationally. So its time to come with a different national sound that appeals to the masses like Frontline and The Team just did. No need to get excited there Mark. Anyway, where can I hear your music? I havent heard of you untill recently.

A-Wolf maybe u should ask some of yer people about me homie....I don't gotta flex my resume....Been payin dues in the Bay as a DJ/Producer for quite some time now...

And nah, no beef needed. Indeed, cats STUCK with that old sound too long but can u discredit the fuckin pioneers? NO!

BTW I like what I've heard from u so far so it ain't nothin personal....I just call it how I see it!

Add me to list of people who are feelin' this Team album. Shit's kinda knockin' in my opinion too. It took a few spins to get into it...but it's on another level.

I agree with what you are saying Mark. But being a DJ you have to admit that there is more then one sound that stems from Bay music. Do we not consider Souls of Mischief, Saffir, All Hobo, All Heiro, Too Short,Rasco, PLanet Asia as well as Quinn, Jt, Cellski, Marv, Celly Cell,IMP, RBL etc. all to be pioneers of what we call Bay Music? Those were all totally different styles but we embraced all of it back then. Do we still do that? Or are we all seperated? I refered to 1993 bay music as "Casio made" because our production sound and style has elevated times 50 since then. I was referring to someones comment that was made about sticking with that sound. You dont need to follow other mutherfuckers you need to elevate with them. So we can elevate this music and our careers. Its never beef with me, I appreciate alls critisism. Thanks for the love on the tracks youve heard though. wolf
