I love my ps3 even though i had to replace the hard drive last week now im fucking with 250 gigs. I used to have a x box 360 until i gave it to my little cousin when i copped a ps3. imo they both good systems but ps3 is a lil more better and has more features.


Only reason wii is selling more bc its cheap as fuck, the graphics on that lil candy box thing are shitty its not in the same league with 360 & ps3 gameplay and graphic wise.


Far as the blu ray discs i dont watch them on my ps3 bc they will burn it out. i leave blu rays to my blu ray player.

PS2/PS3 controller = greatest controller period. The orginal XBox controller was the WORST thing ever. It was the main reason i never wanted an XBox, until they came out with that alternate smaller one.

I experienced it first hand(i was watching a blu ray on my old ps3 paused it went in teh kitchen to grab food came back tried to unpaused it and shit was froze so turned off system turned it back on and that system was never able to ready any kind of disc again(blu ray, game, dvd, cdr) so i took it back to teh store and they said it got too hot from spinning the blu ray and burned out good thing i was still under 30 day warranty then.

Next time you watch a blu ray on it put your hand by the back vent of the system and feel the heat.

This isnt synanomous with just movies....you could have been playing a game and that coudl have happened. Blu-ray movies and PS3 games = the same thing. Both are on blu-ray discs.

Not to mention, trusting any 19 year old at your local Best Buy for any extensive knowledge on electronics is laughable. These are the same cocksuckers that try and dupe you into buying $75 cables that you can get for about 80% less elsewhere.

Personally I have a ps3 because for one, i hate microsoft, 2 it's a powerful piece of equipment that i use for multiple reasons other then just gaming and 3 i hate fucking microsoft they make shitty products that are designed to break. Now this is my personal opinion. So far I've been nothing but satisfied with my ps3 and really can care less about what some internet people say is better or worse.

C/S, BUT SWITCH PS3 FOR XBOX AND MICROSOFT FOR SONY, THE ONLY SONY PRODUCTS I OWNED THAT WERENT P.O.S'S WERE SOME HEADPHONES AND AN OLD HOME EQ/AMP, EVERYTHING ELSE FROM CAR STEREOS TO 2 OF 3 PS2'S I HAD WAS DOO DOO

^^i dont know man, my experience with the playstation 2 and 3 as far as durability has been great. Still have my ps2 working fine w/original controllers and I treated it like shit, leaving it on pause for days, never turning it off, dirty as fuck, spilling beer/liquid on it. PS3 has been flawless (knocks on wood).

Microsoft products on the other hand are laughable as far as quality goes. Vista is a joke. XP is the best product they have but still laughable considering all the vulnerabilities/security problems. The 360 has a ton of problems as far is it breaking down....everyone i know that has a 360 it has failed on them at least once.

But I suppose it only takes one or two bad experiences to change your opinion though. My friend has a ps3, got it the day it came out, the eject button didn't work. Fixed it a few months later something else happened to it. So I'm sure he feels like its a piece of junk.

i know people who went through a few ps2 (big and the thin). ive had the same ps2 (the big one) and havnt had any problems with it. i also heard the first xbox broke alot but i never had to replace my orignal xbox

That's what happened to my original Nintendo. I thought by opening it up and bending the little components around inside that I'd be a cool mechanic and tap into secret content and shit. Needless to say, it never worked again.

Some people just don't take care of their stuff.... I've had 3 PS2's and all have worked fine.... I only use my PS3 to play video games it's been fine so far! (knock on wood)

But I am hella careful/paranoid when it comes to my electronics!
