Its not banned, you can order an r-rated and an un-rated version off amazon. Anyways, this is one of my favorite Takashi Miike films. IT GOES BEYOND JUST BLOOD AND GORE. Like all of his films, it has meaning to it. Loved the ending too. Kakihara is a beast...

I rented this flick at Hollywood video about 3 weeks ago. It was alright, I must've seen the toned down version, cuz don't remember that girl gettin her nipples sliced or the face slidin down the wall. It was still a gory flick tho!
