40's had video's on both MTV and BET before. Whats the big deal? Yall acting like the bay will implode if this video gets no nationwide play. Who cares already? In order to get a rap video to play on MTV you have to either be in a club or at the beach in miami, talk about drinking patron or crystal, be from Atlanta, be a pretty boy token faggot rapper, or rap about Ice and rims. End of story.

sway isn't with MTV anymore and most likely it'll get on BET and who knows, maybe even 106th & park. if it gets on mtv, it'll only be on mtv2 and not as big as a push it would if it were on regular mtv. as for bet, it'll get there but limited play i guess and fade out like many other videos that don't fit with whats hot worldwide. most likely it'll get on 106th & park and get get some play and then probably get kicked off its top 10 if it even makes it cause that shit is probably rigged anyways. they only played those e-40 videos on 106th & park for awhile and then cut it off and made it seem like people weren't feeling it too much cause of the lack of votes. e-40 is backed up by lil jon and his label so it'll get some push but even lil scrappy and trillville lost their momentum and appeal real fast cause artists who turn ceo just fuck up peoples careers. regardless, it'll get play.......just how long it'll stay getting play and if it'll blow up, well we'll have to see.

the song doesnt actually have to be good to make it on national tv. the video looks quality enough, its just a matter of someone with the cash deciding to push it
it actually reminds me of that snoop dogg "drop it like its hot" - both are black and white videos and both are songs with kinda similar slow beats and no flows

Remember the one night stand/gasoline video? the shit was a new joint on 106 and park. Why wouldnt this be? if so dont expect 40 to be on the couch and shit, but if he does even better. let him speak and let the nation know where we wanna go with all this. having BME and Lil jon, and god knows who else behind the scenes pushing this, expect it to go somewhere. the video and song itself has potiential to be big, its catchy, our whole culture is interesting. I can imagine people nationwide looking at this video saying to themselves "damn! thats how they do shit out there", "its really like that!" its something new. give it a chance. be patient. you waited to see it you finally have seen it, wait for it to premiere and wait to see the response.
^^ for real, nobody remembers that this shit was even on MTV for a minute.

I actually kinda thought that too

both have kinda simple beats but they're the type of beats that people are feelin and can get play in a club or at a party

same with the Clipse - Grindin

youre saying drop it like its hot and tell me when to go are simlar musically?

are you fucking kidding me?
no im not kidding. how are they so different? similar style beat, and simple, elementary level spits -
"jesus christ had dreads so shake em, i aint got none but im planning on growing some" - whhooooooo!!! fire!!!!!!! now seriously, this song is nothing special, no creativity and not on any higher level than any ohter talentless song on mtv or bet. so yes, it fits right in with the mainstream rotation

i know its definitely not one of the best lyrical songs out there...that jesus line had me shakin my head in disappointment. but to me, the beats are waaay different. listen to them back to back.
