this thread is the exact reason why we wont flourish...niggaz wont support shit...niggaz shoulda went out and bought the DPG cd the Kurupt cd...i mean if the underground fans dont support the west coast artists that are out there then the labels won give the budgets to the next generation of west coast artists

Ron i wasnt just talking about the CD...but some niggaz have a general hate for Snoop and them for some odd reason...half the posts in this thread are shitting on Snoops idea...without even hearing the music behind it...i aint say anybody particularly didnt buy the cd(though by the numbers DPG and Kurupt are flopping miserably) im saying niggaz need not be negative as a FIRST reaction
i don't think they hatin on the music..look at snoop's track record..people been lookin for him to step to the plate and be the "king" of the west after pac died, to hold it down, and he has not done that...

I've bought every West Coast classic ever made and supported those who've made 'em. Early in the game I realized that this is more about bidness and people will make music with whoever is hot at the moment.

im figuring this is directed towards me so ill respond...im damn near 30 so im far from a youngster...niggaz is getting mighty sensitive so i must have touched some sort of a nerve though what i said wasnt taken the way i meant it to begin with....snoop has always repped for the west in all his music the nigga IS west coast rap...do i personally like the shit he does with Pharell ? nope...but if hes talking about bringing out a group of west coast niggaz then why hate ? i mean hate it or love it snoop is the only west coast rapper to stay relevant since we were on top of this shit(cube took quite a few years off so im excluding him from the argument)...im not even that big of a snoop fan i just dont see why niggaz want to shit on somebody thats trying especially one of the few people from out here thats in any position to get things moving

I"ll take suga free and dj Quick and swoop G, and Nate Dogg and That is the west coast team to make some music to bring something back to the west. if they wanna go lowriders and summertime feel well why didnt they do it this year..
I guess everything goes in rotation.. TI and Jeezy and young ja is getting all the light right now. it was texas.. the bay. it just circles around. maybe 4 years from now it will be wu tang style east coast Hip hop again after a few years of the west....
