Sleeping routines

It's not that I can't fall asleep it's that I don't get motivated til around that time and thats when i'll clean or throw my laundry in or get on the pc when b4 that all i'm doin is dozing off watchin sum ball games or what not and once it's round 10p i'm up like a fuggin zombie

i get up at 5:30 and try and be in bed about 9. doesn't mean i fall a sleep right away. some nights i'm in at like 8:30 some it's closer to 10.

i'm a night person, but i also need my sleep so i hit it to bed early otherwise i can't function proper


some of you should try exercise first instead of the drugs. it helps you get tired and gives you a more satisfying sleep.

I’m a night person myself but I have to wake up at 6:30 am M-F. I have been on this schedule for 3 years and I’m STILL not used to waking up early.

I can’t fuck with the drugs either because they all tend to make me feel groggy/retarded in the morning.

COLDBLOODED is right about exercise rather than drugs. When I’ve worked out regularly I had better sleeping patterns. The problem for me of course is forcing myself to work out regularly.

Damn...I am exactly the same way. I find myself getting tired at like 6-7pm so I am like cool I will be in bed by like 11pm (I get up at 8am for school and than go to work after.) But by the time 10 or so rolls around...I feel like I could stay up until 4am easily.

Plus I hardly ever fall right to sleep. If I turn off the lights around 11pm I will fall asleep around midnight. It takes me atleast 30min to fall asleep because I think way too much when just laying there.

I don't look at the clock either lol. When I get up to use the restroom or get some water I make sure not to look at any clock.

My husband doesn't like the TV on to go to sleep, I do. Sometimes I will get lucky and he will fall asleep before me, but most of the time, we have to turn the TV off, I wait for him to fall asleep and then turn the TV back on.

^^ we'd sleep well together...well, i mean we always did but i was usually drunk or off thizz...lol..and there wasnt no sleepin

....but yeah i sleep with the tv on too...sometimes it makes me have crazy dreams from hearin the shit subsonciously...

I can't sleep with the radio or tv on cuz when it's time to wake up i'm like 1/2 awake with the tv on in the backround and when my alarm goes off i'll throw that shiet into whatever show is on and BAM!! i've overslept

on the weekdays it's usually sleep between 1-2am and wake up around 7:15am with the help of tylenol pm

weekends its no sleep or 3-4 hours of sleep

really takes a toll on you

i have to get in bed before 12, after that for some reason i just stay up for hours jus thinkn. My clock is hella bright too with no dim feature and its green, and that smoke alarm light drives me crazy too. I cant have any lights on when im sleeping, none. I also close all the blinds, and the closet. Usually i sleep at 11:45 thats perfect for me. Oh and i have my clock 15 minutes ahead for no reason either, but its helpin me a lot n the morning. Its like when its 7:00 i dont go, oh shit im late, i just say i got 15 minutes left and i rush.

when I set my alarm i'll look away and press the minutes a grip of times so I have no idear what time I set it for til I figure it out and then I change it again :lick:

I'm always layin in bed forever, just thinkin to myself bout all kinda shit... then after about a hour, ill play a couple quarters of madden, try to get tired, and then do the same thing again and hopefully fall asleep after that.

i've always slept with the on tv every night except when im out on the weekend then i just crash were ever. but one time i was dreamin and in that dream I HAD TO HAVE A BOWFLEX i was excited about the idea of having one, i woke up wanting a bowflex and feelin the same way then i turn towards the tv and it was a bowflex infomercial on comedy central ...........

If I get more than 6-7 hours of sleep my whole day feels fucked off.. I get up at 6am and work until either 5:30 or 8pm depending on the shift.. I come home and handle all my domestic duties and then I'm back working (or shopping online) until about 1am--- some nights its later.. but anything after 1am and its hell getting out of bed.. I've only done the Tylenol PMs once and I felt lightheaded and dumb the next day.. I'm more of an upper type of girl... love my 'sript.. lol..
