so does anyone know if dana white will allow silva to fight roy jones or will silva have to wait till his contract expires?
Expires. Right now it looks like Anderson is going to give up his 185 title to permanently move up to 205. Yeah, hes probably doing it to face better competition but I think its a sneaky way to get out of the UFC's championship clause. Hes got 2 fights left and then he'll fight RJJ.

also did anyone hear Ed Soares(his manager) talking about having Anderson Silva move up to heavyweight to fight Brock Lesnar? That would be a sick ass fight...

Dana White will probably be like, "You fight Machida, then you can fight Roy Jones."

lol
more like "Roy Jones jr? Are you fucking kidding me? This isn't 199-fucking-5. Roy Jones Jr is irrelevant. Hes looking for a fucking easy pay day. Anderson Silva is the p4p best figher on the planet. He wants to fight the fucking best. Not some fucking washed up boxer."

even dana white cant deny sivla vs roy jones would make a shit load of money though.

And silva is the one that wants to fight roy so bad, not the other way around. Silva called jones out, etc. etc etc

ur sig is fuckin hilarious lmao . in other news machida and anderson should be forced to fight
haha. I agree they should fight.. but knowing how alot of Brazilians are real good with each other... alot of them dont wanna fight each other.

I think Anderson Silva would be a great boxer. Hes got everything down pretty much. Can dodge punches hella good and has hella accurate punches and most importantly has great hand speed and great movement.
His movements are great. and his accuracy is on point. I think he'd do well, but I'd like to see him actually box a few rounds.. bekuz 12 rounds is tough.

To who ever said he would never fight machida, thats stupid as fuck...You really think he would move up in weight class to not win the title???
Silva said it himself. He moved up bekuz he wanted to fight other people. But there are people he will avoid fighting. Machida, Wandy, Lil and Big Nog... his friends.

It is "stupid as fuck"... but have you ever read any of the interviews with alot of Brazilian fighters (MMA, not bjj) talk about fighting other Brazilians? Not just Anderson Silva sayin it. Brazilians, for the most part, have camaraderie amongst each other, so if one is champ, they want him to be on top as long as possible bekuz he is Brazilian.

Its not my personal opinion that Silva wont fight Machida... its his own.. and I believe he would avoid the fight as much as possible.

how do you explain thiago silva and machida?
I said "for the most part". Its not set in stone. There are gonna Brazilians that fight.. I'm goin off interviews alot of them said.

I think Wandy said he'll never fight Shogun or Ninja. But who knows.

If you follow MMA, you know in alot of their interviews, they dont wanna take away from Brazilians. Not saying that some will fight, like Arona and Wandy.

As for Thiago and Machida.. are they close friends and in any of their interviews did they say they would not fight each other?

f31roger is right. For the most part Brazilian do not like to fight each other and always cheer for each other vs everyone else. There are always exceptions where teams do not like each other(chute boxe vs brazilian top team, etc.).
