Honestly, that is my FAVORITE movie of ALL TIME...first saw it the summer right before the 8th grade, and luved it ever since....my freshman year in college, when I lived in the dorms, I watch that movie EVERY night before I went to bed or while I was in bed...

Very powerful movie..and yeah I got it, on VHS though..will get the DVD soon....GREAT THREAD...if you want to talk about parts of the movie, let me know and we can get that cracking...

yeah, the Warden(i think thaz how you spell it) was gay..he didnt even want to help Andy get out...you think he thought Andy was going to snitch on him or he wanted Andy to keep doing his dirty work? Andy was a MASTERMIND..he was tooo smart...

the book is a little different, in the book " the kid" who ended up passing the test and.. ( forgot his name)... it says he was shipped too another prison. ---- and wasnt killed.
