Aaaaaaaaand the Madden Curse still rolls on.....

The Seahawks lost reigning MVP Shaun Alexander indefinitely after X-rays revealed a small crack in his left foot.

Alexander missed two days of practice last week because of the foot injury believed to have been sustained during a tackle in the Arizona Cardinals game in Week 2. Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren, who announced the injury Monday, wasn't sure which part of Sunday's game against the Giants that Alexander suffered further injury to the foot.

Holmgren isn't sure how long Alexander will be out but it's possible he could miss a month. Holmgren said Alexander's injury is a non-displaced fracture of the foot.

Maurice Morris will be the starter in Alexander's absence. The Seahawks have a bye week following Sunday's game against the Bears.

Alexander rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's 42-30 victory over the New York Giants.

I can't believe he was on it to begin with. Going on the cover is not good for you career or health.

Whatever, Holmgreen did the right thing... sometimes Shaun looks like hes being fucking soft and slows down way too early, he doesn't go to the outside as much, several other things. He wanted to get him back out there and face the fact that everybody wants to prove something by destroying him becomes it comes with being the MVP. Maybe his foot really is hurt... or maybe Alexander wants to play it off for a little bit until all these people calm down and quit trying to murder his ass on the field. Who knows man I really can't tell.

Fuck the Madden curse...Hawks fans should be at at Holgrem. WTF was he still doing in the game at 35-0???
No...the REAL question is...why the FUCK was he playing PERIOD if he had a fuckin FOOT injury...last time i checked...RB's use their FEET more than anything else on their body...

Whatever...we have the best/deepest recieving corp in the league....4 wide sets it is i guess....

That is a better question. Seriously your star player as an injury to his most used part..good question.

2nd best question...wtf was he doing in the game at 35-0....lol

i predict he misses only two games
I sure as hell hope so! He fucked up my fantasy team for this week majorly (even though with the way he has been playing the first 3 weeks, I did consider benching him again the Bears)! That'll be 2 years in a row now that I've picked players for my fantasy team that happened to be on the Madden cover and fucked me because of injuries. That Madden curse is for real, fuck what anyone else thinks.
