its associated with many other communities that doesnt mean its a term for that specific thing. You are so ignorant it seems like you made the bible of Jesse Rice and your tryna preach to everyone such a prick.

i dont know one person in southern cali that 'trips off the word hella'
damn...it's a lot of people that are actually from Southern Cali that trip when people say hella....but here's the thing, people from the bay grow out of saying the word hella, while in Southern Cali, you have 60 year old white women with 100 plastic surgery procedures under their belt, saying the word "like" in every other sentence.

interesting......i 1st moved to Tucson december of 99 and stayed until july of 01......and i was all over the place....had jobs wit a lot of people and most of them werent hip to Nor Cal or the Bay Area at all.....when people would talk about me or introduce me theyd say "my homie from L.A.....and id have to always correct them and tell them im not from L.A. im from Northern Cali and its a big difference....they wouldnt understand or care theyd jus laugh about it.....

they were hip to a few bay rappers mainly e - 40 and Too Short.....the crip homies was all on the X Raided and Brotha Lynch shit......seen some of the "cholos" bumpin the Darkroom Familia shit but they'd have a mix CD wit Norte rap and Sureno rap on it lol.....they dont know the difference out there they jus like that cholo shit......

but yeah it seems like their startin to catch up.....i think i had somethin to do wit that ....not tryin to take credit but like i said i knew a lot of people and i slanged coke to a lotta mafuccas and hung out in all the bars and i used to represent for Nor Cal real tuff....only ran into a few people who actually been here or was from here but most foos didnt know nuttin about it....MTV played a part too i guess.....
