My sincere condolences...I hope he pulls through. He's an underrated producer in the Bay. The other day, I was listening to Big Rigg's 650 AFFILIATED CD. Rhino's tracks were some of the best on that CD, and he put it down on his verses, too.

Hopefully he pulls through. He probably had a large amount of Ketones (acids formed when your body attempts to break down fats for insulin) present in his system which can cause Ketoacidosis aka diabetic comas or blackouts.

Diabetes is hideous but it CAN be controlled with proper diet & exercise along with medication depending on whether you are a Type I or Type II diabetic. With my "real job" I work with diabetics for 8 hours a day every day in training them how to use our glucometers (www.lifescan.com), how to manage their diabetes & educating them about the disease itself & it can cause HUGE problems if it is neglected which may have been 8's issue (just a guess). Anyway...

Hopefully he has a positive outcome.
