EVERYTHING outside of any downtown area is considered suburban, technically. Compton=suburb, East L.A.=suburb, East San Jo'=suburb.

Cats seem to think that hood is hood, and suburbs are all nice houses and stuff...when in reality, if you don't live right in the downtown area, you're from the burbs, no matter where you're at.

suburbs: The usually residential region around a major city; the environs.

yea i seen this list b4... i think they base it off #of cops per person or sum shit like that & s j is at 1.6(which is ALOT higher than it seems) cops for every 100 people... about 1 million ppl live in sj so we have somewhere between 11000-15000 cops in sj.

NYC is "Safe" based on the huge population which accounts for the 5 boroughs. Take the stats for the individual boroughs then look at the stats. NY is fucked up. San Jose on the other hand is safe no matter how you look at it, but the fake thugs on here want it to be Iraq. Sorry San Jose is safe and clean. Be proud.

Glad to hear that folks in san jo is getting their shit together and handlin they business well... Although I do wish more folks had some better attitudes and kept they dam anger under control then maybe my lil homie would'nt have had to add one more digit to the murder rate last week, R.I.P. to the lil homie Anothony...

Jus to add San Jo I think is one the dopest spots in the bay...we have so many people of different races livin out here and for the most part we know how to interact with one another and get shit done...females be lookin fine as fuk..night life is co on most occasions...Plenty of spots to kick it chill have a BBQ's drink up ect...the only things I can think of that sucks out here is the S.J.P.D. (big surprise) and the cost of livin out here is a lil fuked up (still not that bad) other than that San Jo is a dope city to live in...all the san jo cats continue doin what you been doin get that money...same goes for everyone else get that money and continue to do you

shit man no wonder san jo is so safe,cuase santa clara county is the worse place to catch a case in.the majority of the states prison population is from santa clara county.they locking everybody up for some bullshit charges,fuck the santa clara county system!
